"Why Bitcoin is never going to take off as a currency:" How would you answer this?

Bitcoin discussions in social media are certainly growing. We see more and more people joining into the conversation. However many of these conversations are initiated by those either:

  • Gathering information from a biased mainstream media
  • Completely new to Bitcoin and do not have a full understanding
  • Looking at it from the perspective of a very limited condition. Which may be temporary.
  • Or all of the above

It's easy to argue but argiuing may not be productive. Far better to educate.

What would you say to educate in a discussion such as the following? How could you turn the flow of the argument to something productive and educating.

For those that care about the future of Bitcoin doing so could go viral. What is the effect of educating one vocal naysayer in the possibilities of Bitcoin?

What would you say? (Leave your comments below or on the post itself of course)
